## What is CADC

CADC, the Canadian Dollar Coin, is a fiat-backed stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the
Canadian dollar (CAD). Every CADC in circulation is backed by at least one
Canadian dollar held in segregated cash deposits at ATB Financial, a regulated
Canadian bank. CADC is permissionless at the wallet layer (any compatible
wallet can send, receive, or hold it) but minting and redemption with Loon
require KYC.

## Reserves and transparency

CADC reserves are held entirely in cash and cash equivalents at ATB Financial
in segregated accounts. There is no exposure to crypto, commercial paper,
treasuries, or other investment instruments. Full reserves are available for
immediate withdrawal at any time.

Every month, an independent auditor publishes an attestation report
confirming that CADC in circulation is fully backed by Canadian dollars on
